Another look, Crosstrek Hybrid

Here’s a picture Subaru released of the Hybrid model being unveiled next week at the NY Auto Show. To say we are excited would be an understatement… This is a huge deal for Subaru and for all the dealerships around the country. I mean, think about it, an All-Wheel Drive Hybrid, from the company that builds the most fuel efficient and reliable all-wheel drive models to begin with!?! Should be amazing.

Crosstrek XV HYBRID Baby!!!

Subaru will unveil a hybrid version of its XV Crosstrek small crossover at the New York auto show next week.

The car will be Subaru’s first gasoline-electric vehicle and employ technology based on Toyota Motor Corp.’s hybrid system.

Subaru did not say when the car hits showrooms but the company has promised first deliveries sometime this year.

Also making a world debut in New York will be a concept version of a new performance model, Subaru says.

Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd., the parent company of the Subaru brand, declined to provide other details. But it released a photo of the hybrid XV Crosstrek in bright lime green.

BRZ could be named World Car of the Year!

At a press conference hosted by Bridgestone Corporation and the New York International Auto Show at the Geneva International Motor Show, the top finalists for the World Car of the Year, World Performance Car, World Green Car and World Car Design of the Year awards were announced today.
The FR-S/BRZ/86/GT86 managed to make the final four finalists for the World Car of the Year and the final three finalists for the World Performance Car of the Year. It joins the elite company of the Porsche Boxster/Cayman as the only other car to be a finalist in both categories.
The overall winners in all categories will be declared at the New York International Auto Show on Thursday, March 28, 2013. (Story originally read on http://www.ft86club.com )

First Test Drive of the brand new 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek on the island of Oahu, Hawaii by Roadfly host Charlie Romero. Join Charlie as he tests this rugged new crossover utility vehicle entry from Subaru on Kualoa Ranch which is the site where the movie Jurassic Park was filmed.
